Ah, I've memories of standing outside BBC London forlornly hoping for a spare spot in the radio gig while a stream of guestlist politicians and comedians flowed through — including Lou Haigh and Stella Creasy. Haigh, of course, is a former special constable in the Metropolitan Police. "Sing along with the Common People" indeed...

I remember seeing Ed Balls pushing in front of the queue to go up the viewing tower at Glastonbury one year  ::)
