Hello,
I was hoping someone might be able to give me some advice.

I'm not very London savvy - we've had a few trips there with the kids recently and stayed in Heathrow and got the Tube in.

Would this work and would be able to hop on to Tube/Elizabeth line and get back there after the gig? OR what you suggest we get a hotel nearer the RFH - which would mean parking my car at Hounslow or somewhere similar over the weekend?

Any suggestions for this country dwelling moron gratefully received.

Ian

I am not London-savvy either but I have been to several gigs there and stayed in Milton Keynes. It is less than an hour away on the train and hotels are a fraction of the price. I am not sure about car parking because I have only ever travelled by train but I'm sure you would find more info on the hotel websites.

Excellent, thanks Ian.

Definitely doable, Piccalilli* line to Baron's Court, switch to district (there's an Oddbins outside the tube station (sneaky tube beers) or a drink at The Curtains Up if you've got time. Anyway district to Embankment and You're about 10 mins walk from Embankment.

*Picadilly obvs.
