Je suis vraiment excité pour la représentation de Pulpe à Paris, dans Le Zenith (06/07). C'est une evenement super!

Mais ou else est comingues? Will nous seeions la rotation dans le setlist? Lip-Gloss? Lundi Matin? Ma Cherie Legendaire? L'Eclipse Partiale? As-Tu Elle Regarder Recemmement? Comme Un Ami? Le Jour Apres la Revolution? VIVE LA REVOLUTION! Vive le Pulpolution...

Aux armes, Pulpoyens! Formez vos bataillons! Marchons, marchons... the lyrics of La Marsaillaise are unclear, but I believe they roughly translate to "To arms, Pulp fans! Form your batallions! March, march, so that we may hold aloft Mark Webber's fluffy pink scarf in victory". I think the sentiment of the original anthem is: 'we will entirely be playing Separations era songs. Or something.'

Anyway, who's going to be there?

I can't understand the second paragraph even with Google translate (sorry!)... is it saying they may play Separations songs only?

it was a-ma-zing! Hot, generous (She's an improvised lady), loud. The best of the three I had the chance to see. Long live Pulp. Jarvis finished "en nage" (add it to your vocabulary)

Have You Seen Her Lately sounded fantastic too. Bit of a subdued DYWMA? compared to the swirling stabby melodrama of '87-'91, but still great to hear.

Thinking of Separations, we've somehow got to the point where more than half of it has been trotted out this century at one point or another...

That impromptu She's a Lady is incredible! I love hearing everyone trying to work out what key he's in so they can join in!

Those "what have we forgotten...?" moments before Common People are really taking off. I still can't get over Jarvis starting to sing the original Nites of Suburbia recently.

Yes - a bit more moody and brooding than the anxious sound of the original. Fitting it into the more modern Pulp style I guess? Emma does a great job emulating Russell's playing style though!

Also, I'll be fascinated to find out whether the inclusion of "The Mark Of The Devil" in the voting slot on one of the recent set lists was just a joke or not... so far every other song that was on that list has been given an airing! Not beyond the realm of possibility...

I think Jarvis may be enjoying the novelty of "reimagining" some of the earlier material atm?
