Best hiatus yet!

Cehora

So that "while" was quite bearable after all...

liltman

Slightly similar to them performing After You on Jonathan Ross after their last reunion ended in 2012!

They do like a prestige invite, but then who doesn't?

Do you think Pulp have ever played a private show for a wealthy fan?

Private plane to Oslo, intimate home-cinema theatre with just he and a small group of friends (who like him but for his money) and security personnel in attendance.

And Jarvis stipulating that any 20 songs from the Pulp catalogue could be chosen for the band to perform with the obvious exception of Common People. $1m paid in cash to each nine members of Pulp. Nothing ever said about it ever again.

Pip

A Lotto jackpot win might be the only way I ever get to hear Bob Lind live.  ;D

The Only Way Is Up!

Lipglossed

Short hiatus! So glad they're back already, ha ha...

I guess that Heineken (?) concert to end the Different Class tour was kind of one of those!

Ian

Not sure if he's a wealthy fan but they did play Jimmy Sellars' birthday party in 1981  :D

Didn't they do Damian Hirst's Birthday in 2012 as a private thing? I might be wrong.

eamonn

Was that tied into the closing/moving of Central St Martins ?

No Mark in the Mercury photos!

Sorry, I did save a screenshot for the non-Instagrammers, but I can work out how to upload it from my laptop, the insert image dialogue asks for a url??

Decent performance, maybe a little ragged in parts? Definitely a song best served as a stand-alone.

Candida dressed as Cleopatra was not on my bingo card.

Barcroft

Begging For Change sounds much better live than on the album.

Mark was on stage. I wonder if he was too late for the photos. He missed the soundcheck last year too for his Manchester book talk.

The Egyptian headpiece wasn't on my bingo card either  :D

Sturdy

About 36 minutes in:

Looks like they're having a blast. Great note to end this chapter on.

Won't it be strange when we're all fully grown

Barcroft

It looked like there was some sort of breakdown in communication.

After B4C ends, the camera spends a lot of time on Jarvis. But he's just quickly packing up his mic. It looks like they'd been asked to help clear the stage for the next artist.

I got the impression that the camera operator was expecting a few words from him promoting Help(2).
