Acrylic Afternoons reporting live from the trenches.

Bloody Germans.... surely Love Is Blind will have its time this summer. Dury Lane December '94 is a long time ago. You'd give your whole life to see it...

Ian, how do you upload photos on here? Acrylic had one of the LIB placard in his Insta update.

You can link to a photo or YouTube video using the editor. There are settings for attachments but I haven't played with them yet. I will do when I get chance.

So would I be right in thinking that, at least 2 or 3 times on this tour, they have done the audience choice thing and ended up playing both songs?

Also, 'Don't You Want Me Anymore?' has been a defeated option a couple of times now, hasn't it? So perhaps that might be next...

I liked Jarvis' nod to the recording of the song and how Nico had to learn how to program the drum machine.

Is Mark playing on this live version? Jarvis' vocals and Emma/Rich's violin part are great but I'm not sure there's a need for three drummers! Another synth or guitar layer would elevate it but hey, can't quibble. Live On next please, as the sun goes down on Pulp #6 (?) at End o't' Road.

How wonderful. For someone that hasn't sung those words in front of an audience for more than three decades, he did a blinding (sorry) job. Let us hope this persuades Jarvis that there is a genuine thirst for pre-Intro material.

At the same show, before Common People, Jarvis gave everyone a quick burst of Nites Of Suburbia (original version)...  ;D

...and yes, feeling very bad for Don't You Want Me Anymore?

On the 8th June show, one of the alternatives on the printed setlist was "The Mark Of The Devil" alongside "Love Is Blind".

AcrylicAfternoons posted it assuming that it was just the band "trolling" the fanbase... but stranger things have happened...!

Give me I Want You, and I'll be happy! (still feel so lucky getting to hear that at Dalby Forest)
