Sorry to take this on a bit of a tangent, but I'm not sure what has happened to Julian Cope. He postponed his tour in late Feb 20 because of Covid, but seems to have disappeared ever since (the shows are theoretically still to be re-arranged). I hope its nothing health related.

No press for a decade or so.  Four LPs in last 5 years from Self Civil War onwards, so pretty prolific still.  Hopefully he turns up somewhere in 2026. Thanks, that's good to hear.

 Off topic I know but Julian is just a fantastic artist. His Cope's Notes series of releases are how these things should be done as far as I'm concerned. If any of you haven't indulged then you definitely should.  I'd love to see him play live again but I respect him and if he doesn't want to tour then fair enough.

I'd not heard of these Copes Notes before - checking them out on Discogs, even being completely unfamiliar with the music, these look exciting.
 
 Now I'm fantasising about Pulp equivilents, with booklets written by Mark, and CDs stuffed full of rarities - a Pulp Portfolio-esque project to really celebrate the band.
